Status Update

After several months of traveling and sharing about the ministry of Málaga Media Center (MMC), we are now living on our own in Orange County, CA, in a small apartment. We were blessed with an unexpected job opportunity for Tim, for the duration of our time here, which makes it possible for us to pay rent in this area until we are able to move into a missionary house in October, graciously offered by one of our supporting churches.

We are enjoying a change of pace (traveling gets tiresome after a while!) and are awaiting our baby’s birth in November. It seems like the time has just flown by! I am now nearly 7 months pregnant, and enjoying it - I’m past the stage of not feeling well, large enough that people can actually tell there’s a baby, but not so large that it’s uncomfortable!

Along with our change of pace, we continue to work long-distance on projects for MMC, which is made possible by the internet. In his spare time, Tim is working on some programming projects, and most recently, trying to find ways of making MMC’s Web sites more secure. I am able to help out our Publications department with graphic design projects (if you received the last issue of Communicate, it was put together while on our road trip this spring!), currently we are working on new brochure for MMC recruitment.

How you can pray for our ministry:

- Pray for insight for Tim as he works on a backup system for the MMC Web sites, and seeks methods of making the sites more secure.

- Pray for inspiration and good ideas for me (Kirsten) while working on the new brochures.

How you can pray for our time in the US:

- Pray that we will continue to make new contacts and share about work God is doing through MMC.

- Pray for our support levels to rise - we have seen a small increase but still have a long way to go.

Thanks so much for your prayers and support.

Kirsten (for Tim and baby)

Also - I just finished sending out our latest prayer letter! If you’d like a copy (email or snail-mail), let me know.
